I decided to try and be more adventurous and, instead of doing my usual selective colour picture for the flash of red, I did this, starting with a shot I took this summer of a pale mauve hosta scape that was just opening into flower.
I converted to black and white and then used a color gradient to add the red colour back in. BOB.
