I was trying to photograph some baby ducks when I caught something coming in fast, out of the corner of my eye.

@markp The thought did cross my mind but mother duck did not seem worried. She kept swimming in the direction of the heron. Shortly after I took this shot: http://365project.org/gardencat/this-and-that/2014-06-07
When I left the park a few minutes later the ducklings seemed to be in tact but no idea what happened after that of course.
