I think if you are not interested in waterfowl, you might as well just not bother checking out my pictures for the next little while since that seems to be almost all I am taking these days.
Caught this heron coming in for a landing but I was out with a 50mm lens instead, of my usual telephoto, so this is a fairly tight crop of a larger shot. Another one taken a second before and less cropped is in the other album. http://365project.org/gardencat/365
I'm not overly interested in waterfowl, so thanks for the warning...but still a great shot, perfect timing and I've been trying to figure out which I like best. I think it's this one, although both are great so there's hope for me yet ;)
