Building, Sky, and Powerlines

Another for the NF-SOOC challenge. The sky is blown in places but ,if I cut back the exposure to save the sky I lost a lot of the building shadow details. Of course, I could recover those shadows in post, but my hands are tied by the SOOC requirements. In the old days, I could have dodged or burned in post but, oh well...

This works well in b&w, and those balconies jutting out add a great texture.

You made the right choice on exposure Joanne. Better to blow out a little of the sky than to lose detail in the building. It looks perfectly fine to me, you have quite a bit of cloud detail and the blown out portion looks quite natural.
