She is a 5 pound teacup Schnauzer.
Didn't know you had a dog. At least, he's a patriotic dog. Even if he is just a wee bit behind the times. But and man's best friend of Betsy Ross is a man's best friend of mine.
@mbrutus Yes...Sophie was featured on Cinco de Mayo too. Sophie is 5 lbs. and Katniss is close to 12 lbs. I have always had a dog. Sophie is the fourth mini schnauzer for us (although she is teacup size). I also had a German Shepherd, 3 bunnies and 2 horses. The thing is, Sophie is all black with dark eyes so she is very hard to photograph. Katniss has those big green eyes which makes my job easier. :)
@maggiemae Thank you! And I hope she is around for another 10, if possible! :) So far, she has been very healthy! She eats lots of vegetables like spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, green beans and carrots. She is a "veggie" dog. :)
@tonygig We have had 3 mini schnauzers, 1 teacup schnauzer and 1 German Shepherd. I seem to go for the dogs from Germany. :) I do love the spunky schnauzers though! Thanks so much, Tony!
