Beautiful gardenia shot- and an appropriate poem too. My friend Judy loves gardenias and has a huge plant growing in her sun room. When it blooms the whole room smells like gardenias!
@olivetreeann Gardenias were my mother's bridal bouquet! Outside, the fragrance can be wonderful but inside a bit overpowering at times. They are lovely though! I like to put one or two blossoms in a shallow dish of water and have them float a bit of fragrance in a room. Many thanks, Ann!

@hermann@partyof72015@ludwigsdiana@ddw Thank you one and all. I love their scent too on the bushes outside but I will clip one or two and float in a bowl inside. That way they are not overpowering. They are lovely blooms. Between the gardenias and star jasmine, the backyard is a fragrant delight at the moment! :)
@yogiw Thank you Sandy...I really like this photo, caterpillar leaf nibbles and all. Our backyard is very fragrant. This was my mother bridal bouquet flower so I bet it was overpowering!
