Our task must be to free ourselves
by widening our circle of compassion
to embrace all living creatures and the
whole of nature and its beauty.

I did not see a lot of wildlife but I did see chipmunks, birds and cute little white tailed baby bunnies. The bunnies were running around and chasing each other...so fast and so cute! Unfortunately, I was never ready with camera in hand at the right time.
Talk about "Strike a Pose!!" If that's not just the cutest! Must say I was thinking of you as, for the first time, I asked Ken to pick up a bag on unsalted mixed nuts from Sprouts! He laughed, of course, saying they seemed quite happy with peanuts, but I was thinking of the "whispering food" you're using so successfully!
@Weezilou Hi Louise! Been thinking about you a lot lately! Are you alright? I loved this little Tahoe chipmunk! And been having lots of fun with my backyard squirrels too. Makes me think of you...also when I see sunsets! :)
Many thanks! I was very excited to get a close up of the cute chipmunk! He was not afraid of me and more interested in his peanut. I left him extra. :)
Many thanks for the comments/favs. I was happy to finally get a shot of a chipmunk. He didn't run when I got close...too busy eating. :)
Thanks so much! He was a cutie and happily eating a peanut. I was happy to take his photo! :)
Thanks to you all. The chipmunk was not afraid of me and was more interested in his peanut. I left him more. Glad I got the picture! :)
Thank you for your comments/favs. I appreciate the support and encouragement. This chipmunk was adorable! :)
