I have loved horses all my life. It was probably the first animal I fell in love with and it was love at first sight. I rode for the first time at three years old and the trial leader was most impressed. My uncle, who lived in Texas, would borrow a horse for me when I would visit him on his cattle ranch in the summer. They are such beautiful and majestic animals.
@365karly1@365karly1 I wish they were mine but alas, no. I did own two thoroughbreds (one at a time) but pretty much gave up horses around 24 years old. A horse is very expensive to board, feed, vet, farrier, lessons, horse shows, etc. I finally had to get a job and had less time to ride so I sold my horse. :(
