Such a strange flower-suitable to any occasion.
I carried them on my wedding day, and now I can place them in memory of something that has died. By cultivating the beautiful we scatter the seeds of heavenly flowers, as by doing good we cultivate those that belong to humanity.

California is hurting. There are two fires raging out-of-control again, one in northern CA and one in southern CA. The northern fire has burned more than 70,000 acres, 2,000 structures have been lost and 5 people died within 24hrs of its outbreak.
Also in Thousand Oaks, CA, the 3rd safest city to live had a mass shooting this week where 12 people and 1 Sheriff died, plus the shooter. Sadly there have been 307 mass shootings this year in th U.S. in 311 days this year. This is a tragedy and a need for better gun control.
