The Cincinnati Union Terminal has the tallest half dome in the world...tall enough to put a 10 story building inside. By volume, the biggest half dome in the Western Hemisphere with the Sydney Opera House being larger.

Adjusted for inflation, the total cost of construction, at $41,000,000 made the terminal the most expensive railroad station ever built. Plus it is filled with Art Deco details and exquisite craftsmanship.

There is also a original Rookwood Ice Cream Parlor inside the terminal serving Graeter's ice cream, a taste of Cincinnati history since 1870. Oprah's favorite flavor is the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip.

A fantastic historical place...now all they need is quality museum gift shop on the premises. They should hire me and Sandy. :)
