This is an abstract photo of the glass ornaments before they were taken down in the kitchen...well, almost all. I left the glass heart ornaments and new glass spyrograph ornaments up for Valentines Day.

I thought I would have all the Christmas decor packed away by the 5th...but it didn't happen. Most was taken down and ready to go but wasn't packed up and back in the garage until Sunday...5- 6 hours later. Up and down the stairs, down and back up. I am tired, stiff, sore and took a hot shower and Advil. My vehicle is happy to be back in the garage again too.

In a day or so, I would like to hang up the seashell lights inside to continue the soft and low lighting. They will go with the beach style of the living room and family room.

You are not alone in the late un-decoration task! I just started pulling all the angels off the shelves today, and the greens, and the lights, and now I'm putting off putting the rest of it away until tomorrow. Then all the family pics and other things can return to their usual places. Somehow the bare shelves look so sad... Nice abstract!
