This is the Green Pleasure Pier all lit up at night. We ate dinner at Bluewater Avalon and ordered the official drink of Santa Catalina Island called Buffalo Milk. The warm sourdough bread, the baked crab and artichoke dip and fish tacos were delish! I love eating outdoors...a perfect evening. Best on Black.
Bluewater grill seems to be an island fave! I haven't tried the drink of choice, but LOVE the fish tacos! Were you able to sit on their deck? I saw restaurants putting tables on the sand for the dinner guests...
@Weezilou Yes, Louise. We sat on the deck. I LOVE eating at Bluewater. I have eaten there several times with every visit. They have the best sourdough bread and delicious fish tacos, which I ate everyday. Toyon Grill had FANTASTIC fish tacos too, a new place we tried. We even had fish tacos and a artichoke quesadilla at a stand across from/near the old bird park. They were fried but also yummy! We saw a stag deer there! So many surprises and new adventures on this trip! :)
@gardenfolk Now a stag deer would have been a thrill to see! We went to the Botanical Garden and also stopped at Bird Park for photos of the tiles; didn't see a food stand.
