The lupines were growing where Folsom Lake is suppose to be. The water levels are way down and we will experience another drought this summer. The lupine was lovely but fleeting.
Many thanks for you comments and favs. The rocks were plentiful and usually covered by Folsom Lake, I think. Since the water is so low, it was impressive to at least have a super palooza lupine bloom (as it was referred to).
@alophoto This was taken in Granite Bay and not what I think of as Folsom Lake, but it is a part of it. In the town of Folsom is the main lake and dam but it is so low this year, I am not even sure if they will allow boats to be launched this summer. Fun that you visited California and saw the lake in better/fuller days. :)
@alophoto I visited Cincinnati in 2019 and loved it! I saw soooo many interesting things and places. Also went to Louisville, Lexington and Bardstown, Kentucky.
