Beautiful shot. Love the detail and depth within the rose petals. We are still required to have front yard lawns. That may change, but in the meantime, I’m glad the lawns are finally green.
@shutterbug49 Our 5,000 sq ft. of lawn never looked better after that 5 1/2 inches of rain. I wouldn't mind taking some lawn out but our water district wasn't willing to help pay for the change, like they did in Los Angeles.
That’s short-sighted of them. We moved in during the last drought and El Dorado Hills before that was already encouraging xeriscape. Except for corner lots most of us have very small front lawns at least.
