This is quite odd.. Yesterday I came upon a quote by Andre Gide and the name popped out at me. My Aunt was governess to Andre Gide's daughter, Catherine. I have the story in a journal. She ended up in Russia - the Aunt and lived there till she died. I have to agree the quote goes with this lovely display!
