Calamondin or Calamansi
(scientific name: Citrus microcarpa)
is a fruit tree in the family Rutaceae that was developed in and is very popular throughout Southeast Asia, especially the Philippines, where it is most commonly used for cooking. In the west it is variously known as acid orange, calamondin orange, Chinese Orange or Panama orange. In the Philippines it is called calamansi/kalamansî (kɐlɐmɐnˈsɪʔ) in Tagalog or the Filipino lingua franca, and limonsito in Cebuano.
Calamansi Juice
Ingredients:
~Fresh Squeezed
~2 tablespoons of juice from fresh calamansi fruit
~Sweeten to taste with sugar, honey, and/or Stevia*
8 oz. water
*Note: If you have diabetes or are limiting your calorie intake, we suggest that you substitute the natural dietary supplement Stevia which is sweeter than sugar and has virtually no calories.

~10 parts water for each part Citrus Farms calamansi juice
Instructions:
1. Fresh Squeezed
2. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from fresh calamansi fruit into a glass; you may need to squeeze several depending on the size of the fruit. Sweeten to taste with sugar, honey, and/or Stevia. A good blend is one heaping tablespoon of sugar (brown or white) and two teaspoons of honey. Add 8 oz. water and stir until well mixed. Place a couple of ice cubes. Makes one delicious serving.

4. In a glass or pitcher, add 10 parts water for each part Citrus Farms calamansi juice. Stir until mixed well. Add ice. Makes as many delicious servings as you would like.
