Year Two Update - March, 2017 - It took me a bit longer than a year to reach photo number 365 because I had to take several breaks for life situations beyond my control. During those breaks, I discovered I missed the 365 experience tremendously and couldn't wait to get back into my photo project. Participating in this project motivates me to continue developing my skills in photography. I thoroughly enjoy the daily interactions on 365 and connecting with so many wonderful people all over the world. I know time is precious for everyone so your comments on my photos are always very much appreciated. I still love macro photography and have found that I am also drawn to nature photography. I still consider myself a newbie in photography and feel quite excited at the prospects of everything I still have to learn.

Year One - November, 2015 - I am a retired teacher and divide my time living in Texas and Manitoba. I am new to photography and I am particularly interested in macro photography. I am excited to start this 365 Project . . . a bit nervous about putting my photos "out there" since I'm a beginner but anxious to learn as much as possible.
