Sailing on ice

This is such a strange and I think typically Dutch sport! But if you like speed, it's the one for you! We went to a frozen lake to skate a little, and we saw this going on. Didn't go on one, but I wish I could.
It's probably the last day of real winter here, because the thaw started. But at least we have the pictures to remember.

@marlboromaam it was at night, but today it was almost 4 degrees Celsius. So, not freezing any more. But this is a lake, totally frozen, so it has been really cold this week.

I remember hearing a story from my childhood "Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates" about a boy ice boating on the canals of Holland from my childhood! Great to see it in real life
