I personally prefer the brown one... Here the vignette blue maybe is covering too much area of the brown rail. I haven't used Picasa, but maybe you can choose narrower vignette.
The sky is your subject. I agree that the vignette needs to be a little bit smaller. In Picasa there is an slide adjuster that can adjust the size and amount of vignette!
