Pink October

My hydrangea plant is celebrating breast cancer awareness month. In the past the blooms were blue or purple, but this summer they stayed mainly green with pink on the edges. (I'm filling in blank days due to computer issue.)

My Beautiful Hydrangea
I have a lovely quiet neighbor, sitting in her corner shade
A yard before but near my door, her attraction does not fade
She is a bright and cheery sight to friend and to the stranger
As another autumn takes its flight, I'll miss the sight of my beautiful hydrangea.
