Clipped

“I feel like I'm drowning. Every night, I'm carrying home loads of things to read but I'm too exhausted. I keep clipping things and planning to read them eventually, but I just end up throwing it all away and feeling guilty.” ~ Carl Sandburg

Can we substitue "I keep photographing things . . ."??

For 31 Days of Rust

I'm trying to clean out my garage today. I have boxes of things I inherited from my dad, and this paper clip was on papers belonging to his grandmother, my great-grandmother. (The twin, if you remember that photo).
What Carl Sandburg says sounds very familiar. I let interesting things pile up, too, and you do NOT want to see my ancestry files. I really do need to de-clutter one of these days. I've seen many a rusty clip like that before on old papers. Clever idea for a photo!

@cimes1 Thanks Carol. You know what they say, a genealogist’s filing system usually incorporates the floor.
