My get-pushed partner (Brianna @lilminimonka) challenged me to capture a candid photo of a person or group of people. There was a re-enactment of the Battle of Osawatomie today with many participants dressed in period costumes. Two things I found challenging were lighting, because the participants tended to stay in the shade, and avoiding background distractions.
@swilde Not really. She was helping her mother, who was making a type of fried biscuit and I had asked if I could take their photo. I loved her hair and freckles. Her mom had a lot of character, but the background was cluttered so daughter made the cut.
