Aren't they interesting? This is actually a shot of my lawn refuse garbage can, after I raked these pointy balls out of my yard ... they come from a Sweetgum tree, and look like lotsa dog doodie in the yard. They can absolutely cover the grass if you don't keep up with them, as they are about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and they kind of stick to the grass. Anyway, I shot this close-up and really liked it. You may see another one or two soon ... can't decide. Thanks for looking in.
