I like this one more than the other...the leading line of the alley leads me to the end but other than the window, there is nothing I see that interests me...here the couple pull my eye away from the leading line, which to me adds interest and visual tension. Also, with the couple, there is story telling going on. Just my opinion...I love that I can actually "talk" to you here and not just say "nice shot" .. Thank you for that.
@granagringa Thank you for your insight on this image. I had not really given a lot of thought to the artistic differences between the two until I read your words, but I TOTALLY agree with you. I got excited about how the edited version turned out and failed to "look" back at the original with a more evaluative eye. I too, like that you feel comfortable to be free with your critique and praise, because I know it all comes from a good place. I ain't scared! Thanks again for looking in.
