Granny's grave by gilbertwood

Granny's grave

I went to visit this icon today as it would have been my mother's 96 birthday, and my children called her Granny. This Granny was the first white woman buried in Warrnambool in 1848. She was Mrs James Raddleston. (didn't even get her own name!) She sits alone in the sand dunes, but has the wonderful view overlooking the bay! RIP to both grannies.
Simply super. Fav! :-)
