Hopkins Falls

These falls are 25 kms from Warrnambool (I lived very close to them before moving) This is the summer/autumn sight. Hopefully later I will be able to show you them flowing much more spectacular. In the 2011 floods they were "vertical' falls and if I hadn't photographed them I would never believe it could be so!

The river runs through dairy country and a farm and silage can be seen on the other side. They are 33 feet high and 90 feet wide. The pool base is very rocky and shallow so not suitable for swimming. Thanks :)
