Close encounter of the whale kind

My apologies for another whale collage, but the weather was glorious today and I just had to go to the beach again! Today I walked down to the beach as the sea was relatively calm for here, and the whale was close to shore.

Thanks all for such lovely comments and telling me I can post more photos! I really would love to capture a "tail slap" but haven't seen her do it yet. It's a way she calls her calf back to her, but he is swimming very close to her still. Oh well, lets see what this beautiful day offers! Thanks :)
