It's a long, long road
From which there is no return...........
He ain't heavy
He's my brother.
You may remember meeting my brother in Aug & Sept - the author in his nightdress and the pruner extraordinaire. Well our lives have been shattered as he has had major surgery and now diagnosed with incurable cancer. His amazing spirits are an inspiration to all of us.
Oh Denise, I'm so very to read your news. I remember the photos of your brother. My thoughts are with you and your family at this challenging time. Virtual hugs xx
I,m sorry to hear the news about your brother Denise.Has he looked at alternative medicine as sometimes there are cures that the medical profession don,t want you to know about.
A brother you love is a gift beyond price. You and your family are in my thoughts. I hope you can express some of your feelings through your photography.
@gigiflower@hermann@shesnapped@ethelperry@kiwiellen@terryliv@bella_ss@cejaanderson Thankyou all so much for caring words. It is uplifting to have so many people show comfort and support when I have not actually met any one. This 365 site is definitely a virtual world of friends. Thanks so much. @peterlgrave Thanks Peter. yes they are certainly looking into alternative treatments as Allen and his wife have led quite alternatives lives at times.
*HuGs* Oh Denise, I'm so sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you in this trying time. Hold on to hope and do all you can. I have a friend who was diagnosed with prostate cancer and given only 10 months (after surgery etc) - 6 years on he's still going strong and will be driving a support vehicle for a group walking around Australia next year to raise funds for breast and prostate cancer research. As for alternative therapy, B17 from apricot kernels have helped another person i know; so could definitely be worthwhile to looking into. :) If you need anything, we're all here for you. xo
I am so sorry to hear your devastating news. Just take a day at a time and build memories that you will be able to go back to. My thoughts are with you
@tellefella@darthkitty@teiko@lynnilou@seattlite@jaynspain@pyrrhula@denisefuller@teodw@eyesmile@lindacarol Thanks to each and everyone for your warm and caring comments. Allen certainly is a happy fun loving man (as seen in one of his photos) and his attitude at the moment is so positive too. As quite a few of you have expressed, it's so difficult when it hits your family. We shall remain positive and hope that miracles do occur. Thanks for your friendship through 365 - I'm so overwhelmed by it. Thank you everyone
So sorry, Denise. It's always terrible news when our loved ones are facing such huge hurdles and all we can do is look on and love them. My thoughts are with you. He looks like a lovely man.
