As a sporting tribute to the sudden death of our Australian cricketer, Phillip Hughes, people are placing cricket bats at their front doors as a mark of respect. For overseas 365ers, Phillip was unfortunately hit with a cricket ball in a freak accident during a game this week. My son who is an avid fan of cricket (and also played for many years) involved his sons with the placing of the bats and was explaining why they were doing it.
Great gesture and we are doing this in the UK also. Lovely capture although at first I wondered why your Son has put green streaks on his head - must go to Specsavers.
