Last week I read an article on this and it really pulled at my heart strings. In Australia 2 young people are reported missing every hour! The organization is working in conjunction with the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. I just can't imagine what it would be like to lose a child and never be involved in their upbringing. So this is a photo of my 4 children taken 27 years ago - I have had the pleasure of watching them grow into adults and they are so precious to me. My heart goes out to all families across the world who haven't had this pleasure.
Your children are indeed so precious, no matter their age, and I believe the youngest is your "Little Me," as is said in the U.S. Last year I posted a photo about people still looking for missing children, even though the children were now in their 40's and 50's. Here it is, in commemoration of Australia's designated day: http://365project.org/cejaanderson/runners-up/2013-12-04
@cejaanderson Thanks Jane. I had a look at yours you posted. It is such a chilling event that happens all over the world. @onewing My heart goes out to you Babs. To lose a child through death must be heart breaking - no mater what age. xx @fayefaye Yes Faye it is moments like this that we must realise how fortunate we are :)
I'm with you all the way on this subject, my eldest Son lost his 13 year old boy through an accident and I feel his pain every day and night. You just can't imagine what goes through the parents minds when someone goes missing.
A very memorable shot. I agree with you. Sometimes I feel that I wasn't always there while they were growing even though I gave them all my attention. Now it's the same with the grandchildren.
Such beautiful children and though I didn't have one stolen or go missing I did have one pass away and in my opinion there is NOTHING worse than losing a child. I can't even imagine what it would be like to not know what happened to my child!! Nice of you to bring this out and people should be more aware of what it going on and the children in their neighborhood!! Your children are so cute!! FAV!
What a lovely capture of your children. Like you, I can't imagine not being there for my children and not knowing what has happened to them. It must give their parents unendurable heartache
This is a lovely shot of your 4 beautiful children. I give thanks always for my three and their offspring. Children are a joy, and to lose one would break anyone! Nice tribute.
Great prorate of your children. Although I have never married and had children my heart goes out to parents who have lost children especially those whose children have gone missing.
Very important message
