I will survive! by gilbertwood

I will survive!

Woke up this morning to -2 degrees and frost out my back door! I then spotted this little weed flower standing tall through the frosty grass! Although cold, I was excited to see frost and knew it would then be a sunny day - to which it was :) Interestingly they are saying tonight will only get down to 7 degrees BUT it is already only 4 degrees, the air is very chilly and it's only 7.30pm!
I love those leaves outlined with frost Denise, glad you enjoyed such a nice day :)

Love it, super shot and love the little flower determined to weather the cold.
My daughter lives in Melbourne and said she had to de-ice the windscreen this morning before she could take the kids to school.

Lovely composition!

The frost has created such dainty edgings on these leaves. It's odd to hear of such chilly temperatures when it's hot and humid in the States.
