This reflects what then happened after the ballet.....

During the ballet my sister in law received a phone call that her husband (my brother) had had a mini stroke! As she had driven to Melbourne from Sale (3 hours opposite side of Melb) on her own, I offered to go home with her - I had planned to stay in Melbourne and visit my children. My plans all quickly changed! So I thought this photo reflects how things can change so easily - wonder if you can work it out!! Good news is, my brother is now home (and I've just returned home after 6 hour train trip) He still has double vision, but everything else is ok :)
Good to hear your brother is ok. Things really can change quickly.

Good to hear your brother is recovering well. Great idea and capture of sudden change and calm amongst chaos.

That is not good news Denise, glad your brother is home with only a minor deficit. How our lives can change in a heartbeat. Take care Xx.
Love the reflective shot BTW :)

What an image. It really captures the fracturing of reality.

It seems there is a shade across the window? It is a great choice for your disconcerting news. I'm sure you're ready for a break in tough news.

Good to hear that your brother is on the mend.Great shot. Is this a glass / perspex screen with the pattern done with mirrors?

I am so glad your Brothers home, they wouldn't send him home if he wasn't OK. Now it looks like a mirror with the glass at different angles, interesting.

@karlow75 @wendyfrost @hermann @francoise @cejaanderson @gigiflower @hellie @seattlite @leestevo @merrelyn @janiskay @gijsje @ladymagpie @carolmw @oldjosh @shesnapped @deliad Thank you all so much for your caring thoughts with my brother. Every day his vision is improving and more scans today revealed no permanent damage anywhere else. Thanks also for the comments on this photo -I was intrigued by these in the gardens. There were 4 large mirror panels that had cut outs of trees, leaves and/or branches -different in each one. So you can see the mirror reflection but also the gardens through the cut outs :) Quite fascinating!

Fabulous shot, I'd just figured out how it was done and then I read your explanation. Should have scrolled down first.
Good to hear your brother is on the mend. Just goes to show how quickly things can change.
