Every time I go out into my backyard I can't help but think of my brother, Allen. Last year he pruned my apples trees (posted here on 365 too) and this year they are blooming magnificently. Such a happy memory for me. SOOC too :)
That is such a happy memory, and a pretty photo. I still remember my fathe,r in the early stages of Alzheimers, coming out to prune my pear tree; he looked startled and probably would have rather sat in a chair but he became quite engrossed in doing something purposeful, and satisfied. The tree produced decent fruit last year for the first time in 17, but it ha reverted back to its stubborn self with rock hard offerings if any. I still smile when I recall that day though.
Tomorrow is my 2nd anniversary of my late Sisters passing and I have many things that give me happy memories, my hat being the main thing. Treasure these memories Denise and Allen will always be with you. Lovely capture.
