My sister's grandson, Angus is staying with her for a week while his parents are away, so this afternoon we took him to Lake Pertobe Playground. He had a wonderful time with the birds, a stick and the water! Please note the spoonbill standing in the front not worrying about the proceedings. This is the place where I get a lot of my bird photos :)

Ah yes, the Spoonbill does seem to be enjoying the view of the seagulls as they do the entertaining. Lovely place you have for capturing bird pictures. And grand-nephew photos!
I so appreciated your shared comment about the death of my old dog, especially the part about her life deserving recognition. You put it into words perfectly. That's what I was feeling when trying to decide wether to burden people with sad news and the need to come up with challenging words.
