Today we found out that a dead baby humpback whale had washed up on a beach called Levy's point. My friend, Diane and I drove out there to see it. However we had to trek over huge sand dunes, then walk a kilometre along the beach to find it! After photographing the whale we had fun walking back and taking many more photos! I'll add a collage of that to my second album.
How sad to see this washed up on the beach. I had the most extreme privilege of watching these little beauties swim off the beach yesterday. They put on a show by breaching, but you guessed it …. I had to wrong lense on my camera so no photos.
Think of the whale oil lamps you could fill. Do you know how they find out the weight of this sad whale, they take it to a Whale-Weigh-Station. Sorry couldn't resist that.
Sad about baby whale but Levy's beach looks great.
