Here is Alex celebrating his 4th birthday with other grandsons, Oscar, Harry & Angus (sister's grandson but they all belong together!)
Just home from Melbourne so have a lot of catching up to do :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX, 4 years old, can't remember that far back and I'm sure I didn't have a lovely colourful hat like that. He has a real twinkle in his eye, and oh I could have been his dinosaur, I'm old enough.
@roachling@chard@cejaanderson@hermann@shirleybankfarm@paulaw@deborah63 Thanks all for lovely comments. As many of you commented on the hats and cake, Thought I should tell you that Alex's mum (my daughter!) made all the hats(except Oscar's blue one) and the cake - she's definitely my creative one :) She loves making hats each year with material of the children's interests, and they love to wear them - and they're also reversible! @ladymagpie Just send me your head size and my daughter will make you a colourful hat of your choice! (see above) As for being a dinosaur - I'll have to share a story - when I was working and visiting kindergartens in my area, i arrived at one and a little boy was playing with dinosaurs near the doorway. He looked up at me and promptly said, "You would have been around when dinosaurs were here, so can you tell me what this one ate!!!" I retired soon after that :)
Great pic's love the collage.
