Otway Fly Tree-top Walk by gilbertwood

Otway Fly Tree-top Walk

We finally made it! The steel structure walkway is 1.9 kms long with a spiral tower as well. The tower is 45 metres high with 105 steps to the top! The walk is the longest and highest walk of it's kind in the world, We were having so much fun that a guide had to come and get us and escort us out!! It was the end of the day and they wanted to lock up :) We will be back!
Great shot... I did the one in Jambaroo a few years back.. fun though I did not do the tower as by myself and not so good on heights..

@hermann I pushed it to it's limits, but it is ok after a rest day Sunday :) @gijsje Thanks for the link to your treetop walk, but sadly it wouldn't come up :(
@leestevo The lovely guide who escorted us out told us to come when snow is forecast for 400 metres or below. We will definitely go back then as it would be a magnificent sight :)

@pyrrhula Sorry you wouldn't come! I love heights :)
@merrelyn Let me know when you're over here next - would love to meet you and accompany you to this as well as all the other Great Ocean Road sights :)
@ladymagpie Sorry, no lifts in the bush :)
@radiogirl Not scary at all :)

@888rachel Thanks Rachel. The leg is certainly getting better but I did push it to it's limits - but you know I can't miss a good adventure :)
