Think these signs show why it is great to drive around Australian roads. All but one of these signs are within an hour of home! I will play with some collages or use December photos while I deal with my camera dilemma.
Well spotted Denise what a great subject for a collage, "Bandicoots at 5km" I could imagine a Australian fighter pilot shouting it as he flew over the channel in the Battle of Britain, lol:)
Love it! Wonderful collage. You have a great variety where you live. I have a couple along my road I brought to remind me of home...confuses visitors though.😄
Great set of signs .. we don't have too many beware of the animal signs... cattle ones around here and have seen kiwis ones . .. you will enjoy looking back in your files to show us some of you second takes..
One of my favorite recollections when looking back at my visit to Australia is the unique road signs. Being on a bike, I paid particular attention to them. My favorite was up in Northern Queensland where the signs warn about the dangers of colliding with cassowaries. They show the bird and the car with a crunched up hood....err, bonnet. I think I took a few pictures of those.
@eleanor That's exactly what I've been thinking too - to make a collage of the ones I have seen :) There are 2 that I haven't come across yet - wombat and bandicoot. Thanks for the follow - I have returned the follow!
They are great signs you have Denise, we don't have some of those. We have a bandicoot in our garden, he's makes a mess digging holes when he's here. Collages are a great idea while waiting for a new camera... hope there is a new camera on it's way?
@bella_ss You'll have to capture a photo of your bandicoot for me :) I've never actually seen one! I'm off to Melbourne tomorrow to discuss the camera dilemma with my daughter and son in law who took it back with them.
Great collage, I like all the different signs, I too have never heard of a bandicoot. Hope you find a solution to your camera problem but meanwhile keep showing us some of your older shots
Never heard of bandicoots...
