Backwards eating by gilbertwood

Backwards eating

I watched this little guy eat all the leaves around him including those behind him - then curl up and sleep! I drove through Tower Hill (a nature reserve) on my way to the bush cricket and was rewarded with this for 5 minutes beside the road.
Fantastic wild life capture Denise, well spotted and as a bonus he/she is awake and feeding:)

VML the tonal range of his coat. Don't they have big noses? Is scent their dominant sense?
