No one home!

This house still stands uninhabited on the road to Bendigo. I have travelled this road over the past 30+ years visiting my home area. It was interesting re-spotting familiar sights.

There is something quite sad about its abandonment. Someone tried to make a go of it here and failed. But looking at the dead tree in the background it appears it was not an easy place to live. I wonder if someone will give a try again or if time and climate will do it in completely. Good shot!
