Brim Silo - the first

The silos at Brim were the first to be painted in 2016 by Guido van Helten. It has taken me 2 years to actually do this trip - but at least there was a bonus now as there are 6 silos in 6 different locations :)
How fabulous! And your Brollies add so much to this image! Love, love this.

What a fabulous place for a brolly girl shot. Guido van Helten did a fabulous artwork in Newcastle for the Hit the Bricks Festival a few years ago and a while later the owner of the property the artwork was on painted over it with black paint. Got to fav this photo.

Fabulous art, great fun shot

@onewing I just had to google this Babs, how very sad and not the best of promotional ideas by valley kitchens

@onewing That is so sad to have painted over a wonderful artist's work :(

@suzanne234 @gilbertwood Indeed, it was so sad. Unfortunately I didn't get chance to take a photo of the artwork before it was removed. I had taken photos of a great number of the Hit the Bricks street art but although I passed the Stewart Street painting lots of times I wasn't able to stop and take a photo because of the difficulty parking in that area.
