Came across the emu family yesterday when out near Tower Hill. They certainly have grown and have wandered into the farming country! There was a sign beside the road that said "traffic hazard ahead" - now I know what the hazard is :)
There’s a company here that makes emu oil and cream. My mother swore it helped her arthritis. It’s so nice to see them running free and not fenced in, like they are here.
