More Aussie creatures

Following on from the emus and koala, I was lucky to see a shingleback lizard (or commonly known as stumpy-tailedlizard) as he walked in front of me. Their head and tail have a similar look to fool predators and they have quite a prehistoric scaly covering.
Amazing little creature - - he does look prehistoric , and like a creature who has lost his tail !
