After 50 mls (2") of rain last night a friend and I did a quick trip to the 12 Apostles today. We were excited to see that the temporary waterfall was occuring, and as a real bonus we had the viewing platform totally to ourselves! However from tonight most covid restrictions will be lifted, and Melbourne people will be allowed to travel to regional areas again - tourism will resume!
You have had some wild weather. Covid restrictions will be eased here on Monday too and we will be having tourists from Sydney back in our area. I have mixed feelings about that one. Good for the businesses but not so good for the locals.
Amazing view! The restrictions did provide some benefits-such as having the scene entirely to yourself-but it’s good that things are opening up again around the world.
