Our daughter Rachel has arrived to stay with us for Christmas and New Year. Her cat Claude is fascinated by our washing machine. There was nothing bright in the wash - all darks. When he saw water cascading down the inside he couldn’t understand where it was going to and kept looking under the machine as if he was expecting the water to come out of the bottom of the machine.
