Today is NOT my birthday. It was on 19th December but, due to postal strikes and the usual Christmas postal delays, very few of my cards arrived in time.
My old school friend posted out my birthday card, Christmas card and a 70th birthday banner at the beginning of December but I didn’t receive the package until a month later. I put the banner up in my sewing room, where it still is. I’ve never had a birthday banner before.
