I found this little gem at a concession stand at a concert we went to recently. It just sounded to interesting to pass up, especially given that it has been a "favorite" since 1918! I love finding these old fashioned candies. Unfortunately this one didn't taste as good the ingredients might have sounded. The maraschino cherry taste was OVERWHELMING! I couldn't finish it. Perhaps I should have tried one of the recipes for a Cherry Mash Shake or Ice Cream Sundae instead of eating it plain. Still it was a fun find!
