Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part of the natural world.)
I bought my first camera (a Kodak 110mm " Instamatic") when I was 10, and have been taking picures ever since, over 40 years. Photography is an essential creative and expressive outlet for me. I am in awe of the natural world around me, and that's where most of my subjects come from.
With film photography dying out, I reluctantly "went digital." No regrets there!!!
"365" is just SENSATIONAL! It just blows me away, and so do your imaginative, phenomenal, outlandish, astonishing, beguiling, and even touching photos that are my pleasure to view. Thanks everyone!!

January 1, 2012 Well, I've reached the halfway mark, and have my sights set on a few new things: night photography, Winter birdlife, architecture, photo collages, vintage or antique items, sunrises, and sunsets, for starters. Off I go....
June 1, 2012: I need to take the summer off, but I'll be popping in now and then.
UPdate: December 17, 2012: Unfortunately, the reasons for my needing to take the summer off continue; I'll be around when possible. Les x
