Near to where I live there are roadworks to enable a better bus service called Pennine Reach.
They are taking ten weeks to make the changes and as it is on a busy junction, it is very congested at rush hour times, morning and evening.
I rarely use the buses and much prefer train journeys, as they go through picturesque countryside
I did take many other photos today, including some dew drops on pussy willow.
Our new dishwasher arrived this morning, so I am chuffed with the nice design, from Currys.
Let's hope so.
Bus fares are much more expensive than train fares, so we shall see if it survives and thrives.
I don't drive, but there are cones and alternative routes for pedestrians.
There is sand and gravel on the pavements.
