The weather was mixed, but Paul and me had not been to the seaside for a few years, so a visit to Southport was how we spent most of our Monday Bank holiday.
Southport is a great place to visit, eat, shop and the parking is not too bad. We wandered along the shopping High Street, and were welcomed at Christ Church Vivesco café, where they made a nice toastie and salad for Paul, and a toasted teacake and strawberry jam for me. We shared a pot of delicious tea.
All the big departmental shops are there, Primark, Debenhams, M&S, bhs, Primark, plus many shoe shops and traditional gift and clothes shops.
Southport has so much to see, we will go back when the time comes, Maria would love the extensive range of shops.
